| About Us
The Laurel Run Community Watershed Association is a volunteer citizen group that monitors the stream and the area around it. Our goal is to keep the stream in its current pristine state by educating folks about:
- its current qualities
- good practices that lead to a healthy stream
- what to do if stream problems are noticed
Our members are from all walks of life - farmers, professional folks, contractors, retirees, and others. Most live in the watershed itself, although many are from surrounding areas but have an interest is maintaining clear streams. Some are outdoorsmen, while others simply like living with nature.
We welcome anyone with an interest in keeping Laurel Run pure. We can always use volunteer help in stream monitoring or other activities. The association is a 501(3)c charitable organization and donations are always welcome. Donations are used to offset the cost of supplies used in monitoring, publicity, and other activities directly related to preserving Laurel Run.
